When I was eight years old, my father gave me my first camera: a Brownie Starflash. I've been snapping photos of anything and everything ever since. Some of the results have been humorous, some magical, some mundane and I have experienced more than my share of photographic disasters. With each frame of 110 or 35 mm film, with each bit and byte of digital images, I've continued to learn the craft. My enjoyment and passion for creating memorable and beautiful photographs has grown from a hobby to a labor of love to a rewarding professional career.

I started Almost Home Photography to focus my work in the residential real estate market place, photographing homes for sale for realtors and property managers all over the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area.  Ten years and almost 2000 properties later, I've made some wonderful new friends, seen some incredible homes and met their sometimes fascinating owners.

I retired from full-time real estate photography in 2022, and since then, have enjoyed traveling the world with my husband, seeing new and exciting places, meeting some fascinating people, and having new experiences, and capturing it all from behind the lens.  I hope you'll enjoy your visit to my web site.
